The Pomonal village Market opens between 10 am and 2 pm every month on the last Sunday at Pomonal Community Hall on Ararat Halls Gap Road in Pomonal.
Objective of this market to present local people with an opportunity to sell quality produce and goods including second hand items, new stuff, glass and chinaware, handmade crafts, plants, flowers, fresh produce, preserves and jams, confectionary and baked goods, all in a friendly and informal village setting. During the mornings and afternoon you also get delicious teas as well as tasty lunches for a price.
The proceeds from site/stall fees are ploughed back for the welfare of the Pomonal community through its Progress Association. In the first Sunday of January and full week end in October, additional markets are held to coincide with Pomonal Native Flower Show.
This is a dog friendly market so long as your dog is on a leash. The market follows a plastics free policy and therefore bringing your own bags is desirable. Alternatively, cloth bags can be purchased from community tables at a cost of $2,
